ATAKÖY ADVANCED WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The plant located in an area of 430,000 m2 is the country’s largest advanced biological treatment plant, which has capacity of 460,000 m3/day; the plant eliminates; carbon, nitrogen and phosphor contained in waste water generated by a population of 2,500,000 people, at the same time, it achieves recycling of waste water into solid final products and bio-gas, generating 9.2 MW of electricity from bio-gas as dry products are supplied to cement plants as solid fuel.

The project includes process, design, construction, automation, sludge decomposition, dehydration, cogeneration and operation for 5 years.
